Discover Emerging Artists at the Acoustickle Summer Showcase, Part of Transform: A City Wide Takeover

For 15 years Acoustickle has produced live music and spoken word events across Nottingham. On Friday 12th July we’re bringing a selection of incredible local artists to Nottingham Playhouse. Expect soulful performances, DJs, and dreamy décor, in an unmatched intimate atmosphere. For one special night, you’ll be transported to the magical world of Acoustickle, where original and ground-breaking artists evidence just how much talent exists in this exciting city.

Live acts for the Summer Showcase include: Cappo with Live Band, Cara Thompson, Chris Oliver, Nottingham Community Choir, Davina Songbird, Veeuda, plus a pre-event food and drink experience featuring local restaurant pop-ups + after party.

10.30 - After Party in Company 

9.50pm - 40 minutes - CAPPO with Live Band

9.20pm - 20 minutes - Notts Community Choir 

25 minutes - Intermission  

8.35pm - 20 minutes - Davina Songbird

5pm-7pm - Company / Terrace pre-party with food, live music and DJs

Nottingham-based Acoustickle was the first live performance of Jake Bugg, Yazmin Lacey, MELONYX and other well-reputed acts, plus the first Notts show for Akua Naru, Tiana Major9, Jaz Karis and more. 

Over the years they have hosted well over 1000 live performances at venues big and small, including Old Market Square with The Spiegeltent and with Green Hustle Festival, The Arboretum with Notts Green Festival, and a range of independent locations.

Acoustickle is the brainchild of Parisa East, and supported by team member CeCe Love, both of whom are artists of colour residing in Nottingham.
